  • My love for photography became very apparent on a volunteer trip to Tanzania in 2008. My camera was my best friend. A Canon Powershot G6. On the 10th day of my trip, my bag was stolen with my camera inside. That’s when I knew I had really fallen in love. I felt lost without it. Luckily, I had uploaded the photos I had already taken.

Working and living in a community so unlike my own was a life changing experience, which strongly affected the way I view the world and my place in it. Upon my return from Africa I was so glad to be able to share my experiences with friends and family back home through my photos – to help foster a cultural understanding between people.

After six years of professional Social Work, I decided to pursue my creative passion. I recently received two certificates from Concordia University in Digital Photography and Photo Imaging. My favourite subjects are children (especially those belonging to my dear friends). I invite you to take a look at the beautiful faces I have been fortunate to photograph along with some other work that I have done.
